Cambodia education support for children Project

CGA has just created Cambodia Educational Support for Children project and it is education project in Cambodia has fallen sharply for all students, especially in the poorer and more rural areas. Children between their ages of 6 and 9 will not be able to attend school in a period of year 2020 and 2021 in pandemic of Covid 19, making it impossible for the school to open. Recognizing these shortcomings, CGA and Fida are partnership with the Assembly of God of Cambodia (AGC) to initiate the development of a community learning center in poor villages to help the children to get an extra learning. We hope and believe that if there are more of community learning center in the village, it will be a great way to help children acquire knowledge as well as laying the foundation education for children to be already for the public school.
Cambodia education support for children is an extra learning for little children in poor communities and remote areas and some children who do not have the opportunity to go to school like other children. The project will also work closely with local churches and volunteer teachers to educate children in the community and work closely with nearby public schools to ensure that all children have an access to public schools and community learning centers. The project is located in three provinces are Kampot, Takeo and Kratie in collaboration with local churches.
